Mechanical Model and Seismic Response Analysis of a Track Type Combined Isolation Device

In view of the weak isolation and shock absorption effect ordinary bearings at present, a new track damping negative-stiffness device was designed based on principle negative stiffness. The stiffness applied to base isolation, system proposed in which track-type NSD common layer were connected parallel. had characteristics clear force transmission, simple structure, self-resetting ability. theoretical model orbital established, its hysteretic performance simulated. seismic response six-story reinforced-concrete-frame structure with track-type-damping analyzed. responses traditional lead rubber bearing (LRB), combined (NSD), (DNSD) compared. results show that, same case, compared LRB model, DNSD will further reduce superstructure acceleration displacement system, greater peak value input wave, more obvious structural system. enhances energy dissipation capacity plays role controlling layer. ground motion are reduced time, efficiency is improved.
